Christmas is coming. The office tree is up, Secret Santa is out of the hat, and the team have already been given their early Christmas present – brand new desks for the office. Enjoy, team! But most importantly, for our clients and therefore for us at Vetsec, it’s time to announce our opening times for the festive period.

Who is answering your calls over Christmas?

Christmas may be the most wonderful time of the year but is also the period when your reception staff are least likely to be at their desks. During December 2018, over half (57%) of UK workers attended ten festive events with co-workers, and a third have already booked a day off after the office Christmas party.

It is all well and good to get into the festive spirit, but do you have a contingency in place to ensure you maximise enquiries throughout December?

What’s happening with our team of Virtual Veterinary Receptionists…

It’s been a big month for one of our new Virtual Receptionists. Taia completed her training and probation period in November and is now officially a fully trained member of the team. Plus, she managed to find time to pass her driving theory test, too. Well done Taia.

We celebrated Emma’s birthday, and it was a big one! We hope you felt spoiled rotten by your lovely big chocolate cake and card from the team. Happy 21st Emma!

And finally, congratulations from all the team to Charlie for winning Employee of the Month for November, it has been thoroughly deserved for all your hard work.
